Mathieu Libman
Mathieu Libman is an Animation Director and Art Director living in Los Angeles. He is Director of Animation at the two time Academy Award winning Breakwater Studios where he oversees their animation projects. In the past, he’s collaborated with Disney Television Animation, Netflix Animation Studios, JibJab Bros. Studios, Surfing Giant Studios, Chiodo Bros. Productions, and more.
His animated short, Pinky Toe, was a Student Academy Awards finalist, Vimeo Staff Pick, and Cartoon Brew Pick of the Day. His award-winning short, The Moon’s Not That Great, is Vimeo Staff Pick and screened at festivals around the world. His filmmaking emphasizes a mixed-media approach to heartfelt, whimsical, and earnest storytelling. He’s excited for you to see what he’s working on next!
